Gene East, Manager
Gene has more than 30 years of experience as a funeral director and embalmer, including 20-plus years of experience managing funeral homes and cemeteries. He graduated from Jefferson State in Birmingham with a degree in mortuary science.He is currently an area manager for Gamble Holding Company, serving as location manager of their Guntersville (Carr Funeral Home), Grant (Grant Memorial Chapel) and Scottsboro (Scottsboro Funeral Home) locations.Gene, his wife Shana and their son, Jackson, reside in Arab. The East family attends Desperation Church of Arab. He is also an active member of the Guntersville Civitan Club and he serves as the president of Arab Youth Football League.

Kim Haston, Funeral Director, Pre-Need Counselor, Cremationist
Kim joined Gamble Holding in 2015. Kim graduated from Jefferson State, with a degree in Funeral Service education. Kim is a licensed Funereal Director and Cremationist; she is also a licensed Pre-Need salesperson and assists in the daily operations in the business offices of Guntersville Memorial Chapel and Carr Funeral Home. She is married to Robert Haston, and they have two daughters Leigh Ann and Mackenzie.

Betty McCormack, Office Administrator - Hostess
Betty joined Gamble Holding in May 2017 as an office administrator for Carr Funeral Home and Guntersville Memorial Chapel. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama in business and worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years.
