Mary Hope Whitaker - Age 87 - of Guntersville, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Marshall Medical Center North.  Service for Ms. Whitaker will be Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 2 pm at Carr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Philip Bradley officiating and Carr Funeral Home Directing.  Interment will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens.  Visitation for Ms. Whitaker will be Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 12 until Service Time at 2 pm. Pallbearers will be Randy Whitaker, Eddie Whitaker, Lloyd Darnell, Tim Black, Macrae Benefield, and James F. Whitaker. Mary Hope Whitaker was born in Marshall County, Alabama, August 17, 1923; the Daughter of Henry Horace and Mary Inez Allan Whitaker. Ms. Whitaker is survived by a Niece, Mary Narmore, and her husband, Bobby, of Decatur, Alabama and a Special Friend, Frances Culbert.  Ms. Whitaker was preceded in death by her Parents, Henry Horace and Mary Inez Whitaker; 2 Sisters: Nettie Ruth Whitaker and Dora Lee W. Eubanks; and 1 Brother, James H. Whitaker.
