Wayne Barnett of Albertville passed away Tuesday January 10,2012 at Shepherds Cove Hospice.He was 68.He was born November 8,1943 in Marshall County,Al. to Houston Columbus & Liddie Pearl Sampson Barnett.He was the owner/operator of Wayne Barnett Construction Co.He enjoyed fishing & his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife;Martha Brown Barnett.Son;Marvin Wayne Barnett of Albertville,Al. Daughters;Donna Friend(Tim) of Boaz,Al.,Karen Tisdale(Trey) of Albertville,Al.& Joyce Barnett of Albertville,Al..Brother;Vernon Barnett(Christine) of Guntersville,Al..Sisters;Ruth Elmore(Clinton) of Guntersville & Vestal Humphries of Albertville,Al. 9 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Thursday January 12,2012 at 3:00pm at Carr Funeral Home"Chapel In The Pines". Interment will follow at Solitude Baptist Church cemetery in Albertville,Al. Bro.J.P. Rowan will officiate.Visitation:Wednesday Janaury 11,2011 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Carr Funeral Home/Guntersville.
