I had the pleasure of meeting Vernon at the Holly Pond Cafe when he played there a few times. He was a Kind, Friendly, Southern Gentlemen. Vernon imbued a warm charm while you were in his presence. I would like to express my condolences and prayers to his family and friends, may the Lord comfort you through this time.
