Phillip Glenn Reeves - Age 61 - of Guntersville, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Huntsville Hospital. Service for Mr. Reeves will be Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11 am at Carr Funeral Home Chapel with Carr Funeral Home Directing. Interment will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2011 from 6 until 8 pm at Carr Funeral Home.

Phillip Glenn Reeves was born in the state of Alabama, September 21, 1949; the Son of Joseph Cicero and Gwendoline Rhodes Reeves.

Mr. Reeves is survived by his Mother, Gwendoline Reeves of Guntersville; 1 Daughter, Lillian Grace Reeves of Guntersville; 1 Brother, Ronald Reeves of Guntersville; and a Host of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins in Alabama and The United Kingdom. Mr. Reeves was preceded in death by his Father, Joseph C. Reeves.

I was so saddened to hear about Phillip. There are so many wonderful memories of our years in classes, band and school plays. I used to park my car at the house where he and Ronnie lived during my one year at Alabama. Freshmen were not allowed to have a car on campus so it stayed there until I drove it home on weekends. It was nice visiting with him at class reunions and communicating by email, but I am sorry we did not see more of each other in recent years due to our busy lives.
