Paul Ervin Starnes - Age 83 - of Guntersville, passed away on
Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Service for Mr. Starnes will be Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 2 pm at
Carr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Marvin McCormick officiating and
Carr Funeral Home Directing. Interment will be in Crestview
Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Starnes will be Tuesday, June 7,
2011 from 12 until 2 pm at Carr Funeral Home Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Gandy, Chris Kentsch, Joseph Reiker,
Owen Roberts, Don Stroud, and Jake Wolford.
Paul Ervin Starnes was born in the State of Alabama, March 5,
1928; the son of Alton and Alma Smith Starnes.
Mr. Starnes is survived by his wife, Margaret Starnes, of
Guntersville; 2 Brothers: James Starnes and his wife, Inez, of
Scottsboro and Louie Starnes and his wife, Doris, of Tennessee; 1
Sister, Sue Kentsch of Huntsville; and a Host of Nieces and
Nephews. Mr. Starnes was preceded in death by his parents,
Alton and Alma Starnes.
