Nina Sue Staggs - Age 75 - of Fackler, Al, passed away on
Monday, September 26, 2011 at Highland Medical Center in
Scottsboro. Graveside Service for Mrs. Staggs will be
Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 2 pm at Walls Chapel Cemetery with
Bro. Jimmy Miles officiating and Carr Funeral Home Directing.
Interment will be in Walls Chapel Cemetery. Visitation for
Mrs. Staggs will be Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from 6 until 8 pm
at Carr Funeral Home.
Nina Sue Staggs was born in the State of Alabama, June 19, 1936;
the daughter of Edward and Fannie Gregg Hunkapiller.
Mrs. Staggs is survived by her husband, Travis Staggs of
Fackler; 2 sons: Michael Staggs and his wife, Mitzie, of Elkmont
and Mark Staggs and his wife, Elizabeth, of Knoxville; 2 daughters:
Myra Gray and her husband, Marshall, of Huntsville and Marie Hulgan
and her husband, Eric, of Ft. Payne; 5 grandchidren: Drew Staggs,
Montana Staggs, Megan Staggs, Savanna Hulgan, and Melissa Gray; 2
great-grandchidren: Dalton Gray and Gloria Gray; 2 sisters:
Virginia McMillan and her husband, Ray, of New Market and Helen
Hunkapiller of Huntsville. Mrs. Staggs was preceded in death
by her parents, Edward and Fannie Hunkapiller.
