Mary Margaret Wright - Age 85 - of Huntsville, formerly of Guntersville, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011 at South Hampton Nursing Home in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama.  Service for Mrs. Wright will be Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 2 pm at The Church at Lake Guntersville with Carr Funeral Home Directing.  The body will lie in state at the church from 1 until 2 pm. Interment will be in Brashiers Chapel Cemetery in Arab, Alabama.  Visitation for Mrs. Wright will be Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 5:30 until 8 pm at Carr Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the Family requests that you make donations to the Arthritis Foundation, P.O. Box 7669, Atlanta, Ga 30357-0669.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Cornelius, Mike Hasty, Larry Walden, Kevin Garrison, David Collins, Tim Waldrep, Matthew Robertson, and Richard Cornelius.

Mary Margaret Wright was born in the State of Alabama, March 14, 1926; the daughter of Samuel Henry and Hattie Elma Cobb Wright.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband, Mathis B. Wright of Huntsville, formerly of Guntersville; one son Wayne Wright and his wife, Carol, of Huntsville; 2 Grandchildren: Samuel Wright and Joshua Wright; and a Host of Nieces and Nephews.
