Mrs. Lula Faye Phillips of Guntersville Passed away Thursday
January 12,2012 at Huntsville Hospital.She was 81.Mrs. Phillips was
born December 21,2012 in Marshall County(Hebron Community) to John
& Leona Holt Lewis.She was a former dental assistant with the
late Dr.Asa Dodd for over 35 years.She was a member of First
Baptist Church in Guntersville for over 50 years.She was a member
of the LLL Sunday School class.A long time member of the Order of
Eastern Star(Guntersville Chapter).She enjoyed working in her yard
& playing with her great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.Husband;Royce
Phillips.Brothers;J.B. & L.D. Lewis.Sisters;Della Walker &
Gertha Lewis.
She is survived by her daughter;Terri Lee Phillips Jackson of
Guntersville,Al.Sisters;Gracie Hand & Mary Canfield(Wayne) of
Guntersville,Twin sister;Eula Mae Cooper of Albertville &
Frances Tucker of Arab,Al. Granddaughter;Sarah Olivia
Morrison(Christopher) of Guntersville,Al..Great-grandson;Landon
Morrison of Guntersville,Al.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday January 15,2012 at 3:00pm
at First Baptist Church in Guntersville.Interment in Marshall
Memorial Gardens.Rev. Joel Samuels & Brother Charles Watkins
will officiate.Visitation will be Sunday 1:00pm - service time at
the church.
