Lou Gray Fennell - Age 79 - of Guntersville, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Shepherd's Cove Hospice in Albertville.  Service for Mrs. Fennell will be Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 2 pm at Carr Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Bentley officiating and Carr Funeral Home Directing.  Music will be provided by Rev. Jim Elliott.  Interment will be in Crestview Cemetery.  Visitation for Mrs. Fennell will be Saturday, July 9, 2011 from 12 until 2 pm at Carr Funeral Home Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of Marshall County.

Pallbearers will be David Jarmon, Rodney Gray, Greg Gray, Chris Helton, Don Jarmon, and Randy Smallwood.

Lou Gray Fennell was born in the state of Alabama, January 21, 1932; the daughter of Benjamin Burl and Flossie Kelley Gray.

Mrs. Fennell is survived by 1 son, Lynn Jarmon and his wife, Susan, of Albertville; 4 Stepsons: Raymond Fennell of Huntsville, Randy Fennell of Huntsville, Bobby Fennell of Huntsville, and Homer Clayton of Guntersville; 2 Daughters: Jean Brothers of Boaz and Cindy Gilley and her husband, Mike, of Hokes Bluff; 4 Step-Daughters: Jennifer Fennell of Huntsville, Robbie Clayton Trafzer of Georgia, Karen Clayton Schneeberger of Georgia, and Judy Clayton Hyde of Scottsboro; 2 Sisters: Jane Jarmon of Guntersville and Barbara Belk of Arab; Lifelong Friend and Former Husband, Bobby Clayton, of Guntersville; and Sister-in-Law, Nelda Gray, of Guntersville.  Mrs. Fennell was preceded in death by Husband, Leonard Jarmon; Husband, Bob Fennell; Son, Ricky Jarmon; Step-Son, Ronnie Fennell; and Brother, Buddy Gray.
