Kenneth Neal (Butch) Mahan - Age 64 - of Guntersville, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at his residence.  Service for Mr. Mahan will be Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 2 pm at Pleasant Hill #2 Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Lambert and Rev. Joey Grant officiating and Carr Funeral Home Directing.  Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Visitation for Mr. Mahan will be Monday, May 23, 2011 from 6 until 8 pm at Carr Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jim Harris, Keith James, Brandon Kelley, Wesley Mahan, Rick Mahan, and Chris Pope.

Kenneth Neal (Butch) Mahan was born in the state of Alabama, March 7, 1947; the son of W.L. and Viola Sims Mahan.

Mr. Mahan is survived by his wife, Violet Mahan, of Guntersville; 1 Daughter, Angel Marie Mahan Williams (Tim) of Guntersville; 1 Granddaughter, Grace Elise Williams; 3 Brothers: Hal Mahan and his wife, Mary Ann, of Albertville, Ricky Mahan and his wife, Judy, of Georgia, and David Mahan of Boaz; 2 Sisters: Suzette Peppers and her husband, Tony, of Guntersville and Pam Hayes and her husband, John, of Albertville.  Mr. Mahan was preceded in death by his parents, W.L. and Viola Mahan.
