Julia Lynne Smith was born in the state of Alabama, October 8, 1955; the daughter of John Earl Childress and Jacquline Caldwell Smith.

Julia is survived by her Father, John Earl Childress, of Scottsboro; her Mother, Jacquline Smith of Sylvania; 3 Sons: Timothy Smith of Guntersville, Stacy Neil Smith and his wife, Stacy, of Stevenson, and Nathan Brian Smith of Sylvania; 2 Daughters: Tosha Haney and her husband, Greg, of Tennessee and Crystal Smith and her husband, Jamaal, of Guntersville; 6 Grandchildren: Cole Smith, Deanna Smelly, Charisma Bentley, Daisy Haney, Joshua Haney, and Skylar Haney; 3 Sisters: Deborah Goins and her husband, Randall, of Alabama, Rena Lambert and her husband, Wendall, of Tennessee, and Pam Gibson and her husband, Phillip, of Rainsville; and a Brother, Christopher Smith and his wife, Donna, of Dawson.
