Jimmy Brooks - Age 60 - of Guntersville, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2011 at Marshall Medical Center North.  Service for Mr. Brooks will be Monday, June 6, 2011 at 2 pm at Carr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Battles officiating and Carr Funeral Home Directing.  Interment will be in Sweet Home Cemetery.  Visitation for Mr. Brooks will be Sunday Evening, June 5, 2011 from 6 until 8 pm at Carr Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Larry Joe Norris, Little Jim Brooks, Zach Brooks, Ricky Brooks, Chuck Jordan, and Kenneth Bennefield.

Jimmy Brooks was born in the State of Alabama, June 7, 1950; the Son of John H. and Geneva Katherin Johnson Brooks.

Mr. Brooks is survived by his Wife, Linda Brooks, of Guntersville; 1 Son, Phillip Brooks and his wife, Joella, of Guntersville; 1 Daughter, Kim Pace and her husband, Andren, of California; 4 Grandchildren: Logan Brooks, Brady Cole Brooks, Max Brooks, and Kylee Brooks; 1 Brother, James Albert Brooks and his Wife, Doris, of Asbury; and 1 Sister, Linda Knott, of Boaz.  Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Geneva Katherin Brooks, and a Brother, Johnny Brooks.
