Imogene Douglas Cofield - Age 85 - of Guntersville, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011 at Huntsville Hospital. Service for Mrs. Cofield will be Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 3 pm at Warrenton Methodist Church with Bro. Ralph Johnson, Bro. Banny Martin, and Bro. Sam Huffstutler officiating and Carr Funeral Home Directing. The body will lie in state at the church from 2 until 3 pm. Interment will be in Diamond Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Cofield will be Saturday Evening, April 16, 2011 from 6 until 8 pm at Carr Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Whitt Taber, Brandon Caryl, Scott Currie, Keith Cannon, Mickey Williams, Von Anderson, Bubba Martin, and Charles Douglas.

Imogene Douglas Cofield was born in the state of Alabama, September 7, 1925; the daughter of John Grady and Mary Cue Myra Tate Camp.

Mrs. Cofield is survived by 1 Son, Harry Wayne Douglas, and his wife, Nettie, of Guntersville; 1 Daughter, LaCena D. Taber of Guntersville; 4 Grandchildren: Whitt Taber, Amanda Caryl and her husband, Brandon, Lesley Currie and her husband, Scott, and Emily Taber, 3 Great-Grandchildren: Sidney Stapler, Braden Caryl, and Ansley Caryl. Mrs. Cofield was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar. H. Douglas, Brother, Leldon Camp, and her husband, Revell Cofield.
