Ferrell Lynn Roden of Albertville passed away Friday December 2,2011 at Shepherds Cove Hospice.He was 53.

He is survived by his daughter;Natasha Roden of Albertville.Mother;Reba Cox(John) of Albertville.A host of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Sunday December ,2011 at 2:00pm at Carr Funeral Home.Interment will follow in Marshall Memorial Gardens.Rev.Russell Dorsett & Rev.Joey Cannady will officiate.Visitation will be Saturday December 3,2011 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Carr Funeral Home.

I'm so sorry to hear about Ferrell. We worked together at Intergraph and we were good friends. I moved away from Alabama many years ago but Ferrell and I stayed in touch through the years. I have many happy memories of Ferrell that I'll cherish forever. Ferrell gave me buckets of pecans and I took them to my grandparents and they shucked them and made us yummy pies. My grandma loved the pecans we gave her and talked about it often and it always made me smile and think about the generosity of Ferrell. Every time I use pecans in something I think about my grandma and of course Ferrell. My thoughts and prayers are with Ferrell's family and especially his daughter. I've seen pictures of her and she is absolutely adorable. I hope to meet her one day and tell her what a wonderful man her father was. I'm so very sorry for your loss.
